The Plan
Located at the Gateway to the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas, Charter Communications developed a new call center with a remodel of an existing building.
The Solution
The 48,000 square foot remodel is designed to house over 400 agents and the related support office, collaborative and community spaces. Link designed the space to acknowledge the rich geographic and cultural history of Pharr.
The spaces are designed to capture the City’s and Charters common goals for the site of community, history, future, and trust. Starting with a gateway type entry into the center, the flooring captures the city’s history of an agricultural development by with a network of blue “irrigation’ channels connecting the spaces. Various collaboration and break areas are intertwined within the call center creating areas for small team gathering, quiet reflection, and team building.
