The Plan

The owner of Capital Gymnastics dreamed of a better facility to support his world-class athletic program. In addition, planning for the future, he needed an exit strategy designed-in to allow the building to be easily converted for other uses to improve resale potential. We helped him to realize his dream and have supported his efforts in multiple locations.

The Solution

Working with a limited budget and onerous municipal codes, we were able to create multiple facilities that helped fulfill his dreams.

• The owner self-performed much of the construction in coordination with the General Contractor in an effort to save money
• The design utilized a creative system of pits below the floor to keep the exercise equipment at floor level instead of elevated
• Buildings were optimized for acrobatic training of Olympic athletes as well as neighborhood kids

Enrollment has increased significantly, and the facilities are delivering on their goals.
